Open gardens -- 2013
AUGUST was another stellar month for rose garden tours. On August 14 we were again invited to St. Timothy's Church in Salem to view the rose beds maintained to perfection by SRS member Mike G. There was a "second chance" open garden at Mike C's place on August 1st, but he was so busy hosting the affair that he forgot to take photos. To compensate, however, we'll allow him to show a photo taken just one week later (MORE panorama!):

JULY was highlighted by a visit to Laveryne's lavish garden, with plants galore and roses and more. Thanks Laveryne. Because this was your inaugural open garden for the SRS, we will honor you and your garden with FOUR photos, 2 from the front yard, and 2 from the back.

JUNE was a great month in the annals of rose garden touring. Even though the first two photos show people just sitting around, that's NOT what we are about. The next two photos show us engaging the roses, learning as we go.
